About Us
El's Kitchen & Bar
Since our grand opening in June of 2010, El’s Kitchen, located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, has established itself as the premier destination for BBQ cuisine with a rock and roll atmosphere. Just across the street from the Regal Movie Theatre, El’s is the perfect location to enjoy dinner and a movie, no-cover live entertainment and a dynamic dining experience offering free parking and within walking distance from public transportation. Using an industrial smoker, we specialize in brisket, ribs, chicken, and pork smoked with hickory and cherry wood nightly for 12 hours. The eclectic dining areas and sidewalk patio showcase a classic juke box, arcade games, and rock & roll memorabilia that sets El’s “Rock & Roll BBQ” concept apart from any other. El’s Kitchen proudly provides it’s award-winning BBQ, warm service, and laid back atmosphere to guests of all ages, consistently creating unforgettable experiences.

The Red Eye
Bacon at El's Kitchen Why we loved it. Ultra-thick slices of pork belly bacon are brined in house before taking a turn in that magical smoker - which incidently, is used to smoke everything from olives to salmon to the corn used in the house-made veggie burgers
Chicago Reader
El's Kitchen is a casual dining place that gets its stuff so right that you want to applaud the people that made it happen.
Red Eye
Midwestern ingredients and American comfort food rule the house of this casual lincoln park eatery across the street from the Webster Place. There's an emphasis on barbeque, so keep your eye on specialties such as smoked brisket sandwiches and baby back ribs.
